The teardrop-shaped and ring-shaped charms are formed in flame during the blowing process and and suspended from the bowl. As the glass is held or set down, the charm moves and creates a delicate sound. The base retains the subtle irregularities and marks of hand-forming, making each piece unique.
Where historical glass emphasized symmetry, Sospesa makes a contemporary gesture: asymmetry as signature of individuality. Expertly handcrafted in Italy by skilled master glassblowers using premium borosilicate glass and flameworking technique.
