SENZA FRONZOLI — for Campari

I was invited by Campari to participate in a special project that celebrates creativity, as part of the brand’s famed bond with design & art.

Commissioned with the design of an object including their iconic  Campari Soda  bottle, I went back to its inventive roots for inspiration. In 1932, futurist Italian artist Fortunato Depero, envisioned the enduring conic shape by turning an aperitivo glass upside down.

This ingenious gesture is at the center of my ‘Senza Fronzoli’ coat rack. The inverted bottle graciously completes the design, and invites us to undress of our preconceptions. No straight lines, like life itself.
